We had a great stay at a traditional Japanese accommodation. The staff were kind and supportive. The tatami room was spacious and comfortable, and they provided extra bedding. The breakfast was a cultural experience with lots of traditional Japanese delicacies, and there were many local restaurants nearby to explore. The in-house onsen was relaxing and enjoyable, perfect for soaking in after a day of skiing. we felt very at home and comfortable during our stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique cultural experience.
The hotel was located on a steep hill, which could be challenging for some guests with physical handicaps, but it's worth it for the unique experience.

Enjoyed my winter vacation here and loved the ski/snowboarding slopes covered in fresh powder. The quaint village with communal onsen facilities was a highlight. The friendliness of staff cannot be stressed enough; they made genuine efforts to communicate despite language barriers. appreciated the big western-style beds and traditional Japanese-style room.
Wi-Fi was only accessible in the common area and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

The hotel provided excellent amenities including clean and comfortable rooms, and an onsen that was perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of skiing or snowboarding. Moreover, the staff were very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We also appreciated the free parking that was available to us during our visit.

The Japanese-style breakfast was good and the room was warm and cozy. The free shuttle to the ski resort was a great advantage and the in-house onsen was a nice way to relax after a long day of skiing. the location was excellent, with easy access to the bus terminal and other amenities in the area.
the shared basins outside our room were a problem and we were woken up several times during the night by loud chatter and throat clearing. while we enjoyed the atmosphere and facilities, the noise was a significant negative aspect of our experience.
